An Art Club founded in 1977
Artists of the Oaks promotes interest in the arts through educational and informal social activities. Our members enjoy varied presentations given by guest artists at our monthly general meetings.
Membership is open to all interested in art and photography. We are a combination of producing artists, beginners, and people who love art in all its various forms and who enjoy meeting regularly to share this passion
Located in Penn Valley, California, in the beautiful Sierra foothills of Nevada County, Lake Wildwood is a gated community with a population of 5000 professional, business, and retired residents.

Nick is an artist working in “Bold Color Vibrancy” style Watercolor painting. I have an intimate connection with the scenic country landscape and the rich historic community where gold was discovered in the Sierra Foothills area of Northern California. Having lived in this region nearly all my life, I have a deeply committed desire to visually preserve for others the nostalgic emotion and excitement of the mid-1800 to mid-1900 time period that existed in the location I was raised and remain to this day.
