An Art Club founded in 1977
Artists of the Oaks promotes interest in the arts through educational and informal social activities. Our members enjoy varied presentations given by guest artists at our monthly general meetings.
Membership is open to all interested in art and photography. We are a combination of producing artists, beginners, and people who love art in all its various forms and who enjoy meeting regularly to share this passion
Located in Penn Valley, California, in the beautiful Sierra foothills of Nevada County, Lake Wildwood is a gated community with a population of 5000 professional, business, and retired residents.

Mindy Oberne, owner of Twin Star Gallery in Grass Valley. A very talented pottery creator.
“I have been enjoying playing with clay for many years and have developed my own style of origami ceramics that demonstrates the incredible fluidity of this medium. I use a lot of textures, and finish with glazes that have a 2-tone property which accentuates the textures. Form and nature are my inspirations. “
