Ana Howes pursued a career in architecture at UC Davis. Graduating with a degree in 1995, Ana's academic journey was enriched by a minor in Art and Interior Design, laying the foundation for her multidimensional creative pursuits.

During her time at UC Davis, Ana's dedication extended beyond her studies as she shared her expertise through teaching summer courses in landscape and interior design. These teaching experiences sparked her interest in visual expression, leading her to explore painting in acrylics, watercolors, and pastels. Her fascination with abstraction flourished, becoming the focal point of her artistic endeavors.

For over three decades, Ana has left an indelible mark as an architect in the Sacramento area. Her architectural projects served as not just functional spaces but also as platforms to showcase her artistic vision. Her work adorned office spaces, clients' homes, and found its way into the collections of private art enthusiasts, reflecting her ability to seamlessly blend creativity with functionality.

Now, residing in a serene community, Ana draws inspiration from her surroundings to fuel her creativity. Her current body of work encompasses abstract paintings that capture the essence of the sky and water using a blend of mixed media and acrylics.
