Tricia Burbank

Tricia, best known for her award winning gourd art, finds her inspiration by working with natural materials that evoke a feeling for the feminine qualities of nature. Her inner muse is drawn to primitive and ethnic cultures influencing her sculptures, gourds, clay wall medallions and unique jewelry pieces.

Her sculptures speak to the universality of the goddess within every woman and she hopes to convey emotion, attitude and a story with each piece. Her jewelry is designed to inspire the “goddess within” to express herself through wearable art that reflects her unique taste.

Working with clay, gourds, paper, beads, stones, oils, dyes and inks allows Tricia to indulge her passion for rich color, extravagant texture, experimentation and variety.

Tricia, a California native, has taught and sold her art throughout the state.

She resides in Lake Wildwood and can be found at local art fairs and teaching at the Community Center. See more of her work at Banner Mountain Artisans. Contact Tricia at tjb@triciaburbank.com
