Jane Lee
I grew up during the post-war period in Korea. My love for art started when I was a little girl. I remember the little excitement in my heart jumping for joy when I saw nice paintings in the rare occasions of visiting exhibits. Even though I wanted to study art, my circumstance dictated me to study nursing. However, when I joined the art club in the college, I got to do oil painting seriously for the first time.
Over the rest of my adult life, mostly here in U.S., I took various art classes and self-taught many different mediums: textile art, silk screening, ceramic, watercolor, and Photoshop and Illustrator for graphic design. I also enjoy acrylic, mixed media, collage, paper mâché, and cards & poster designs using computer software such as Illustrator. I believe God has made all beautiful things in this world and it is my desire to transfer some of those beauties to paper or canvas as best as I can so that I can share them with others of same interest.
