Roy Church
Roy Church began drawing and painting at an early age, winning blue ribbons in County Fair Art shows in the first grade. Later, he began drawing pictures of his classmates’ favorite cars.
During Junior and Senior High School, his interests turned toward building and inventing things. He received an AA in Architecture and a BSID in Product Design, the latter from San Jose State University. He worked for a while as an Architectural Illustrator and Graphic Designer before joining Hewlett Packard working in R&D. He enjoyed a 30-year career with Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technologies where he was a Product Designer and Manager of Industrial Design and Human Factors Engineering. He holds a U.S. and Foreign patent for a conductive rubber keypad.
In addition to his fondness of painting classic car paintings, Roy also enjoys abstract and expressionistic painting.
